About us
Lt. Parkash Memorial Deaf and Handicapped Children Welfare Centre (Regd.), Ropar is a non-political, non-profit, and secular NGO dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of deaf and specially-abled individuals. Since its establishment in 2007, our foundation has been committed to providing technical training and quality education to help these children become self-reliant and integrate seamlessly into mainstream society.
Our School for Deaf Children was founded in 2007 and is currently led by our dedicated Chairperson, Mrs. Adarsh Sharma. The school operates in a spacious building with ample open space for children to play and learn in a nurturing environment.

Led by certified and experienced speech-language therapists, this space supports both one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to individual needs. Each session is customized to target specific areas such as articulation, fluency, voice modulation, auditory processing, receptive and expressive language development, and non-verbal communication.
